RAP - Reading Award Program is an extension of the ESO Program. We are trying to promote and encourage reading by the residents at MO Girls Town. The girls read books and write a short summary of their books. We have a campus coordinator that keeps track of the books for us. We then host a pizza luncheon twice a year (May and November). We recognize those who have read and encourage those who have not to join the fun. Those who have read receive prizes from donations of GFWC of MO clubwomen. The number of prizes they receive is based on the number of books they have read.
What do we need from MO Clubwomen? We encourage Wal-Mart gift cards - $5.00 and $10.00. Books are a great donation too. At this time, we have enough other items that have been donated in the past to distribute.
