GFWC of Missouri Scholarships
GFWC of Missouri offers college scholarships to deserving students in Missouri universities each year. Scholarships are offered in the areas of Art, Forestry, Health, Law, and Music. Local GFWC clubs contribute toward these scholarships.

GFWC of Missouri also appreciates the dozens of scholarships that are awarded annually by our clubs. Education and youth leadership are among the high priorities of interest promoted by our membership.
GFWC of Missouri sponsors a college loan program.
Phobe Jane Ess Loan Fund
PHOEBE JANE ESS LOAN FUND established 1909 as a college loan fund
available to women desiring to further their education. The applicant
must
have a creditable record in scholarship, be a graduate of a four year
accredited
high school or equivalent. She must be planning to attend a Missouri
school
or college and be in need of assistance. The INTEREST FREE LOAN OF
$2,500 paid to the school or college. Student must begin repaying the
loan to
GFWC of Missouri when she leaves the school.
